Is Breakfast included? Meals Included?
While meals are not included in our stay and play packages, Charles & Darl’s is a short walk from the Villas, and Blue Stem is the perfect destination. You’ll have no trouble finding tasty and breakfast, lunch and dinner options. View Menus
If you play multiple rounds one day. Do you have to pay cart fees for extra rounds?
Yes, we do ask that Villa guests pay cart costs for all rounds on any day. The cart fee is $18 per person. View Packages
What is the difference between a Standard and Deluxe Villa?
A Deluxe Villa offers the following:
Remodeled kitchen with new appliances
New beds, headboard, and bedding
Brand New furnishings
2 bedroom with 2 beds in each room
2 bathroom, full kitchen, and living room
When will Stoatin Brae be opening?
Stoatin Brae is open! Talk to your reservation agent about how you can add an unforgettable round of golf at Stoatin Brae to your package.
How far away is Stoatin Brae?
About an 8-minute drive from the main Gull Lake View Clubhouse, Stoatin Brae is located just off Augusta Drive and backs up to #3 and #4 of the Stonehedge South Course.
How old do you have to be to qualify for the Senior Rate?
55 Years young.
Does everyone in the group have to be 55 years or older to get senior rate?
We are proud to offer senior rates to entire groups of players 55 years or older.
When can Golden Passbook Vouchers be booked?
You may book a reservation with a Golden Passbook the week of you requested dates.
Do carts have GPS?
Starting in 2017, the carts at Gull Lake View East & West have GPS. We also provide hole layouts and yardages on our scorecards.
What is the cost of a cart fee if I only play 9 holes?
What are the restaurant hours?
From six in the morning until 10 at night, Charles & Darl’s offers full-service breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. Click here for Blue Stem’s hours
Can we bring our own beer out on the courses?
To comply with Michigan State Law, we ask that no outside alcohol be brought on the courses. We do provide adult beverages at all of our clubhouses and halfway houses. We mark beer cans with a sticker to signify that they are from our facility.
What time is check-in?
While you are welcome to check in at any time on the day of your arrival, we promise to have your lodging ready by 3PM.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 11am the day of your departure. If you need extra time, please check with the Villas Office. If you do not receive approval, we will have to add an additional night to your bill.
Can we bring our own grill?
You are welcome to bring your own grill, though we only permit grilling on the grass outside of your unit. If you are on an upper floor, please plan to enjoy your grill on the grass, not on the balcony.
Can I pay for a portion of my deposit and have others call in the rest?
We are sorry, but we are no longer able to accept multiple deposits.
Do we have to pre-pay our trip in full?
While we do require a deposit to secure your reservation, we will not need your full payment until you check-in.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel 45 days out or more in advance your deposit is fully refundable and you will not incur any penalty. If you are inside the 45-day window, we will keep your deposit until we sell the room. If this happens we will issue a full refund on the deposit. However, if we cannot sell the room, we do reserve the right to keep your deposit.
Can all of our rooms be together?
It is always our goal to keep your group together (unless you ask us not to!). If this is not possible, which can happen when making arrangements close to your arrival date, we’ll make every effort to secure rooms that are close together. We’ll try our best, though we can never guarantee to get everyone under one roof.
Can all of our units be on the ground floor?
We understand the desirability of ground floor units, though since we are popular with many seniors and less abled clients, it can be hard to get everyone exactly where they want to be. We’ll try, though we appreciate your understanding when we prioritize ground floor units for people who would be excessively challenged by upper floor lodging.
Can we get extra tables and chairs put outside our villa?
If you can give us a week’s notice, we can make this happen (depending on availability). Please discuss your needs with our reservation agents.
